Enjoy the great outdoors!
Summer is here, so it's a fantastic time to enjoy the great outdoors in and around Lawley Village.
The Lawley Village Developer Group (LVDG) has created a 'Safe Routes' leaflet which maps the pedestrian footpaths and designated cycle routes across the development, helping people to get out on foot or by bike and make the most of their environment.
Lawley Village's pedestrian and cycle paths also create a convenient network with the excellent public rights of way linking Lawley to Telford town centre and the beautiful surrounding countryside.
The summer months are the perfect time to enjoy the natural open spaces of Lawley Village itself, with playgrounds and public open spaces giving children plenty of opportunities to keep active in their leisure time.
LVDG has donated reflective armbands for every child at neighbouring Lawley Primary School to ensure they can be seen clearly when they're out and about.
And it's not just the younger residents of Lawley Village who are making the most of the great outdoors.
Lawley Running Group was launched by local resident Andy Childs as a way for people living in and around Lawley Village to get together for regular runs around the local area.
The group has been given high-visibility vests to wear as they jog around the streets of Lawley by LVDG and IMS, the long term stewards of the Lawley Village community.
So don't miss out on a great opportunity to get active outdoors in and around Lawley - pick up the 'Safe Routes' leaflet from any of the developers' Sales Centres at Lawley Village.
