Planning application submitted for Phase 7 at Lawley Village
A fresh selection of new homes at Lawley Village is now in the pipeline, with Lawley Village Developer Group submitting a reserved matters planning application for Phase 7 to Telford & Wrekin Council.
The proposed new phase, located to the east of Lawley Common Roundabout on Lawley Drive, comprises a total of 266 two, three, four and five-bedroom homes, including 32 affordable homes to give local residents and key workers the opportunity to live in a brand new home within their community.
The masterplan for the development also includes public open space, landscaping and new planting.
A planning application to carry out earthworks to prepare the site for development was approved by the council in June 2016.
Graydon Worthing, on behalf of LVDG, said: "We are looking forward to starting building work on Phase 7. It is a much-anticipated part of Lawley Village, as it is located next to a well-established area of this thriving community.
"We aim to build around 3,500 homes and so far we have completed five phases. Homes are currently for sale in Phase 6, which has proved very popular, and work is well under way on Phase 8, where homes are being sold off plan and the first residents are starting to move in.
"In fact we also now have three beautiful showhomes open to visitors on Phase 8, all of which provide a tantalising glimpse into the wonderful lifestyle opportunities on offer at Lawley Village.
"The village continues to go from strength to strength, and this year we saw the erection of a new footbridge to link the thriving shopping centre with two residential areas.
"The vision for Lawley Village is to create a vibrant, sustainable environment where people of all ages feel a real sense of belonging - producing a village that meets the needs of existing and future generations."
In the meantime, house-hunters can register their interest in the new homes online via the Lawley Village developers' websites - as well as checking out the new properties currently available:
