Lawley Square is the place to be!
28th January 2015
Lawley Square has fast become the thriving heart of the new community at Lawley Village.
The Morrison's supermarket has just celebrated its second anniversary in the Square and is proving incredibly popular with local residents. Open seven days a week, there's also an in-store cafe which is a handy meeting place for people.
Residents can enjoy a fantastic selection of local facilities within easy reach of their homes, providing all they need for day-to-day living.
In addition to the Morrison's store, there is a nursery, doctor's surgery, pharmacy, optician, hairdresser, florist and two charity shops, plus an estate agent, a funeral director and a carpet and flooring shop. There's also a new Anytime Fitness gym.
Meanwhile, there's a wide choice of places to eat and drink, including the Marston's Grazing Cow pub, plus a Greggs bakery, Subway, Lawley Square Fish Bar, Anokaa Indian and Bangladeshi restaurant and takeaway, and Papa John's Pizza and Chicken Cottage fast food outlets.
Sanctuary Supported Living's extra care scheme at Lawley Bank Court has also proved a big success. Providing 60 one and two-bedroom rented apartments for people over the age of 55, the facility was full almost as soon as it opened.
Lawley Bank Court's restaurant and café are open seven days a week and welcome members of the public, while there's also a hairdressing salon and meeting rooms which are open for public bookings, as well as spaces for exercise classes and activity clubs.
For business owners and local residents alike, Lawley Square is the place to be!
